I’m pleased to introduce uCareSystem 24.12.11, the latest version of the all-in-one system maintenance tool for Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian and its derivatives. This release brings some major changes in UI, fixes and improvements under the hood.
Continuing on the path of the earlier release, in this release after many many … many … did I say many enough ??? So after many tests of which color combinations are balanced for various types of terminals …
… finally uCareSystem has its colored outputs
Checkout how gorgeous I’ve made it:

Ok ok…. it’s just a terminal app… but come on….
Last but not least, the 24.12.11 version of uCareSystem, incorporates :
- Fix the way uCareSystem detects the distribution so that it enables version updates in a proper way (Linux Mint LMDE is now supported)
- Added some useful info about how long the system is without a reboot
The Sponsors of the earlier development cycle (24.10)
With version 24.06 of uCareSystem, I added a section to acknowledge the people who supported the development of the last cycle. This addition was warmly received by the community, and I can’t express enough gratitude to those who donated during the earlier development cycle:
